Is a Volunteer at Metro Caring since 2018, she is also the Community Lead on their New Affordable Housing Advisory Board and a new member of the Board of Directors also a Volunteer Legal Mediator since 2012 for Jefferson County Court Systems in Colorado. She was formerly a Greeter/Peer Mentor For the Mental Health Center of Denver and has well over 30 years of Supervising and 13 mentoring Staff. In the 1970’s she worked for the (AFAFC/ARPC) Air Force Accounting and Finance Center/Air Reserve Personnel Center in personnel as a civilian
She Has worked for (CHFA) Colorado Housing and Finance Association as a Section 8 Technician in the early 1980’s awarded in 2012 Denver Housing Authority “Wall of Fame” award for accomplishments in Service and economic self-sufficiency. 2013 she was part of the President Jimmy Carter project with Habitat for Humanity, featured in their 2013 documentary as she help build affordable housing as well as her own while working two jobs and going to school full time. She has spoken in front of the Denver City council on behalf of Habitat for Humanity to help pass Amendment 394 to help build new affordable home ownership.
